Just opened up the newest G&A Complete book of the 1911 and saw an ad for Christensen 1911s. Ti frame, stainless slide and hand fit. Never heard of them and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with the company.

Yep,........they are making some kick *** rifles as well!
They mess with exotic metals and carbon fiber.

Nope, haven't heard of them. You might want to do a search though, but I can't remember seeing info about them.

Ned Christensen. Was he, or is he, a competitive shooter?
I know he has 1911s, ARs, and carbon fiber barrels.

Just came home with the same magazine tonight and was looking at those guns. Pretty cool stuff.
I handled them quite a bit at SHOT. They are obviously not a bad gun for $3k, but I would probably take an entry level Brown or Baer over one of them.
I've seen them before. I don't care for the looks, but they're probably quality guns.
They make excellent rifles and I'm willing to bet that the 1911 will be the same quality.
sure were an eye-catcher in the mag Sunday at the grocery store

I don't care for the look's at all. And no, they have nothing to do with Ned.

Not the same person as what the OP posted.
Ned Christainsen is a member of LTW and is a renown smiff. This is Ned's company. http://www.m-guns.com/about.php

Wow,........I can say his rifles look better than his 1911's.

I'd say they are of great quality. There hunting show on the sportsman channel is pretty good. Regurally kill some animals at 600+ yds.

I thought they looked pretty interesting. I might have to do a little more research about them to see if they're indeed worth the price.

$3000 for a relatively unknown 1911?
I'm in the wrong business.
