Now I've done my research, and believe I will be getting trijicon's. But my question is, I have approximately 1500 rounds through my gun. And am quite accurate after quite a bit of practice with the stock sights (in my opinion) but this being my first gun. I was no where near accurate when I first started a little over a month ago. I am just worried that I'll essentially be starting over. Is this true or do sight changes usually not effect that much? My LGS will install them for free if I buy there. Also (being the rookie here again...) what's to say that once the night sights ares installed, that they will be true to the factory sights?
Thinking of changing cause the guns main purpose is HD/SD/EDC (once the state approves me...) But also, I just enjoy goin out and shootin ****! Lol. So hopefully I'll never need to use it in a low / no light situation, but if I do, I wanna be able to aim at what I need to hit. Do they change that much for daytime use? Are they really worth it?
