Your .243 105gr A-Max twist experience?

For some freakin' reason I'm keen again on shooting Hornady 105 A-max and I was thinking of getting a Rem SPS Varmint or a Savage rifle. 9 1/8 and 9 1/4 twist.

What is your experience? Twist enough to stabilize all the way beyond 600yrds ? I did some search on the net and got a lot of conflicting/contradictory info on the subject.

I know I know, I should have never gotter rid of my 8 twist 6mm Remington but there I am :crying:

Shot those Amax out of my rem 788 243win 1/9 twist. Hmmm been about 15 years ago but I do recall they shot very well. I loaded them warm going 2950 fps over my chronograph. Also shot sierra 107 HPBT bullet out of that gun too. Load some up and let us know.
