My kids are under 9 years old. I'm looking for software to limit them to certain websites. While an adult is always nearby, I don't want them accidentally clicking a link, or typing in a website they heard from their friends.

I see that MS has parent control software built into Vista Home. Would this be a good choice, or are there better options?

I haven't used any but I see that it is available in both Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Thanks, GI. I'll give it a shot.

The built in Vista works fine for my kids, though some games they like to play will be disallowed for whatever reason. The time limiter is most effective.
Set up their users individually, type "parental controls" in the search window of the start menu and there you go.
