Hey Glocksters,

I'm looking for a recipe for 45acp using bullseye......

Traget/IDPA Load, using Berry's 230 gr plated rn, w/cci LP Primers.

Guns are Kahr cw45, and RIA 5" 1911 ....

5gr of Bullseye under a 230gr ball is the classic hardball load. Well, since around 1910, I guess. ;)

I think there are books which have this and other loads listed, along with all kinds of other useful info, like OAL and stuff...

I think I'm going to start with 4.5 and work my way up .....

5gr Bullseye has always worked for me with my Zero 230gr FMJ bullets.

as usual: db check and cross reference all data.
not proposing this for you
follow all mfg instructions and fold tissue 2x before wiping.

I use 5.0gr of BE in my 230 gr FMJ.
For my Lead RN and Rainier 230 gr RN type bullets I use 4.4gr of BE.

I thought Barry's were plated????? so supposed to use lead load data, not jacketed data??? This is why I load my Rainier plated same as lead loads.

My 4.4gr of Bullseye with the lead and plated (Rainier) 230gr RN runs in all my 45 autos really well: Glocks, Colt, Ed Brown.

Finally, IDPA, I don't know their requirements, so don't know if these loads will meet their requirements.
