Have any of you had experience with wise emergency food? I saw a new item listing on lapg here:http://www.lapolicegear.com/wise-bucket-84.html. I was wondering if this stuff was any good. I'm new to prepping and would like somewhere to start.
I plan on buying sample packs to try out before buying in bulk. But, dOes anyone else have recommendations on prepackaged emergency food?
Thanks.

Have tasted their food and it is as good as Mountain House.
These folks have a good price: http://www.emacstacticalshop.com/page/407357570
You might want to also take a look at the Shelf Reliance - THRIVE brand. http://www.shelfreliance.com/home
Not pre-made meals. But more basics (fruit, veggies, TVP)
For ~$1,000 I can get:
Item - # of Servings - Servings per person per day
TVP (Beef, Chicken, Ham) - 720 - 2
Veg - 720 - 2
Onion - 70 - N/A
Fruit - 566 - 1.5 - (buy from Costco - 4 pack is cheaper)
Egg - 944 - 2
Bacon TVP - 225 - 1
Sausage TVP - 225 - 1
Add 150 lbs of rice and a family of 4 could go around 3 months (basic sustenance) on just this. .
