Have fired about 23 rounds through it so far - 5 out behind the shop, and a couple mags in the back yard at home this afternoon. They ALL went bang. I caught myself slapping the trigger a couple times, probably anticipating recoil. But it doesn't kick too bad. I found I could get my pinky around the standard mag base plate fairly comfortably, but a Pearce extender might give me a little more stability.

Not sure I like my generic IWB holster though: could only draw with 3 fingers and then had to dig for it. "Dunlop's disease" you know- My belly done lopped over my belt..

Congrats. :wavey:

I always found the pinky extension to help out a bit.

I really like my 23, I guess I need to give a 27 a spin for comparison.

What have you decided to load it with?

I tried some Critical Defense, federal Low recoil, Gold Dot and Golden Sabre. The Rem. gave me the tightest group, but that was without a rest. So far I prefer Gold Dots, but may switch back to the Sabres. No hiccups after 100 rounds, but caught one empty to the hat. I think it ws the Low Recoil.

For the Range, I'm using my old stand by: UMC's.

The mag extensions makes a lot of difference. I can get much better purchase on the weapon. The pachmayr slip on feels good and felt better to me as well.
