I hope this guy has one huge safety deposit box. No way I would keep that in my home. That's worth more THAN my home!!

I wonder how much he bought them at. That's a lot of money if he bought it at today's prices.

Stil not smart to put on youtube. You wouldn't put $150,000 Cash laying on your bed on youtube would ya? The comments about finding his IP address are pretty creepy.

He should post a follow-up video after he turns them all into silver bullets.
not to be picky, but i didnt see any eagles. i did see a BHO round though
the eagles would have a little more value than silver content value too.

He should post a follow up video about how it was all lost in a boating accident.

I hope he doesn't have to make a run with 220 pounds of silver. That will be hard on his back pack. I hope he has very strong safe not just a gun safe. I would think at least a TL-30 rated safe, maybe more.

Agreed, although it's just over 266 lbs.

How do you get there? Is that because the coins are not pure silver? When I convert 3200 troy ounces to pounds I get 219.428571 pounds. At 90% silver content that would only be 243.8 pounds. Silver Eagles are 99.9% that would be less 219.7 pounds.
Not trying to be argumentative, but curious where I erred.
266 is Troy pounds (12 oz to the pound)

Fair enough, I had not gone down that path as most people can't relate to Troy pounds as they do not equal the normal pounds (OK I don't know how to spel Auvoirdupois or something equaly as strange). Lets call it 100 kilograms in mass. Still hard on your back pack.... and back.:faint:
gotplastic was the one who mentioned 266 pounds.
Personally my back and legs aren't calibrated in troy pounds. . .
