Today was my day to clean the house, gotta keep it nice looking for the ladies don't ya know.

Had the Fox News coverage of the 9-11 memorial services on while vacuuming then decided to imitate Merry Maids and actually do some dusting. (I normally don't dust since I rely on the dirty outline to remember where to put things back. A pretty clever system if I do say so myself.)

Moved a stack of magazines off of a side table and while doing so something fell to the floor.

Twelve or thirteen years ago my shooting buddy and his oldest adult son had taken the motor home to the black powder nationals in Friendship, Indiana, and after a week of shooting we decided to take a side trip to Washington, DC and New York City since they had never been to either place.

Obviously we had to take the obligatory boat ride to Liberty Island. Never in a million years could I, or any one else have imagined what would happen to the background. I think I'll put the picture in a more prominent place.

Sometimes things take prominence over loading.

Sometimes the world can change, right behind you. Some people say never look back . I beg to differ in this instance...

My friend Stan and I were planning a trip to Friendship the day after 9/11. We decided not to go.
I was and still am a NMLRA member.

Coincidence that you found that picture on the day that you did. Thank you for sharing... :wavey:

My wife and I were in Providence, RI for the Labor Day week in 2001. We talked about going to NY and visiting the Empire State Building and the WTC. We didn't... :faint:
