Want to change my front brass bead sight to a set of ghost rings. I have one of the newer models that is already tapped and the bead sight is threaded. I am having a hell of a time finding a set of sights on the interweb though.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

That does look awesome, but what do you think they mean by gunsmithing? Just that light install will have to occur?

I believe the front sight needs to be silver soldered or brazed on.

I don't know of anyone making one that uses the stock screw hole.

I had a Mossberg 500 and I bought the XS Big Dot ghost ring sights for it BEFORE understanding how they had to be installed. I took it to every gun store in Jacksonville and every "gun smith" told me they couldn't install them because it needed a front ramp to be silver soldered on it and they couldn't do it. I ended up selling them on eBay.

My advice, If you really want ghost ring sights on your Mossberg, sell it and buy a model that comes with them from the factory...

You might be able to buy just the barrel with the grs front sight already on it from Mossberg.
