I recently bought a new 21SF and it must have been some old stock because it was one of the ambi-mag release models. Well, I sent it back to have it replaced and while there, asked if they could swap it for a 20SF instead. I asked if the 20 4th gens were available and they weren't (as we all know). So anyway, they gave me a choice between a 21 4th gen or a 20SF and I picked the 20SF.

I've owned one or two 10mm's over the years, but didn't hold on to them very long. I always preferred 45. Well, this time I plan to do a lot more reading up and learning to reload for it. I plan to hold on to this one for a long time. I had them go ahead and put the Glock night sights on it while they had it and I should get it next week!

Sulaco, :welcome: to the forum...and back to the world of 10mm! Handloading provides for the ballistic potential of the cartridge although some commercial loadings can be had with full potential as well. Give the G-20 a chance and build your proficency with it! Best regards!

I've read it here, so take that with a grain of salt, but they say the 20sf is supposedly the same as a Gen 4 with the smallest back strap installed.:wow:

20SF for the win. I think you made the best choice, especially if you are reloading. Of course, the prices of shooting a .45 and 10mm are very similar either way.

Yep... I've heard that the smallest backstrap on the Gen4's is equal to the SF grip. No reason to go to Gen4 if you ask me.

Good choice on the G20SF. (I also bought a G20 years back and didn't hold onto it. I bought another a few weeks back and will not be letting this one go.
