With so many new stocks coming out and all of the technology I was curious to see which ones other people are favoring. It sure is hard to keep up with the mossberg 500 stuff these days.

Speedfeed IV-S with R3 pad, but I don't use a Mossberg so the safety is an issue with the Speedfeed III and IV stocks.

Any thoughts on the Knoxx stocks with the recoil absorbing piston?

No favorite. Any standard design (no pistol grip) quality synthetic that is the proper LOP with a good recoil pad gets the job done for me. I like wood just fine but I tend to beat it up on a working gun.

A standard (non-pistol grip) wood or synthetic stock shortened to a 13" LOP.

I love mine. I know the "real operators" prefer some other brand that costs twice as much, but Im just a guy that needs something for zombies. :wow:

It works just as described, and my pistol grip Mossberg Maverick 88 that had sat on the shelf for 15 years because of the punishing recoil was transformed into a formidable self-defense weapon.

I can shoot buckshot all day long if I want without pain or bruising. And the stock is adjustable for length.

Speedfeed IV-S on Remingtons, Hogue on Mossbergs (or Remingtons if you want a conventional stock, which I do usually).

The Knoxxs work fine till they break. And it's a when. Not an if.
