Green Valley in the winter! Your a SNOW BIRD!!! lol I guess I will take you in as a " Part Time " Member of the forum. You should be headed down here in the next few weeks I am guessing right?
Whats up fox?! Where are you about?

Fox: Awesome, I work in north scottsdale at Pinnacle Peak Country Club. I am going to ASU as well. I take it you must go to the scottsdale gun club quite a bit?

Chief: I will try not say " Pull " around you as you might get offended :P ! Green valley is a nice little retirement area. I have played a bunch of golf down there, I lived in Tucson for about 2 years and most of my family is down in Tucson now. I come down every few weeks or so.

Another Scottsdale and Scottsdale gun club guy here. I mainly lurk around the 10mm forum because not much is ever posted here. Guess we can change that.

Lake Havasu City - the garden spot on the Colorado.

I get to Phoenix on occasion. I lived there for 25 years before I got fed up with the traffic. I'll be sure to get in touch the next time I'm headed for the Scottsdale
Gun Club. If you venture into my arena I'd be glad to show you around our little gun club.

Welcome to Arizona.

Great stuff guys! And yeah we need to get some more activity here, maybe some sort of shooting.. outing.. arizona thing? I have been to US Auto weapons a bunch of times now but never gone into Scottsdale gun club, I have heard it is one of the best in the nation as far as indoor ranges are concerned how is it?

Yeah let us know when your in town.. last time I was up that way I drove right by heading to Bakersfield to san francisco and sacremento.

I normally go to Rio Salado, but i'm never opposed to making some noise with an M1A at an indoor range.

Is Rio Salado the one in east mesa near the " Phoenix <--- " sign? I have only been to Caswells so far, and it was last week. I am open to anywhere within decent driving distance.. with my new job in north scottsdale, Scottsdale gun club is right on the way actually...
Pre work shooting?

Yeah, ill have to get back to you with a date. Between work and school (chem major) life is a **** at the moment. should relax soon.

Rio is an amazing range, the Tuesday night steel competitions are a world of fun. It's a 40 minute commute though :crying:

Hell I should just go out there and watch sometime and try to pick up on some of this stuff and see what some hard core shooters are doing. And hopefully meet some new friendly people and gain a little knowledge wont hurt either. I have no idea how to get there other than " head for that mountain " but I couldnt imagine it being any more than 25-30 for me, unless of course we are talking rush hour.... ( I am at Apache and the 101 )

Hey! Tempe resident here. If you need any work done on your GLOCK you should check out Glockmeister in Mesa. We can do just about anything if you need an upgrade. I'll be putting up some posts on our Facebook in the near future with some GLOCK related content, so feel free to check it out!

Rutha, that near Tucson?? I found one outdoor range run by the county (Pima?). Very nice facility. Didn't shoot, just checked it out. Near the fair grounds as I recall.

Depending on which part of the east valley you are in check out www.arizonafirearmsandpawn.com (in Tempe) or thegundepot.com (in east mesa) those are 2 that I like. And up in Scottsdale, The Scottsdale Gun Club is really nice.

Hey fellow Zonies...Elite Tactical here in Arizona! We've been around but are new to GlockTalk. We just expanded our online store. Used to specialize in AR platform, but have now expanded to include a bunch more (more rifles, shotguns, handguns).

We are participating in the GT Thanksgiving fundraiser and are giving away some good stuff (maybe a fellow Zonie will win!)

Looking forward to checking things out at GT - looks like a good group here!
