I have three mausers. I have enjoyed shooting them. I would appreciate knowing who might work on them when I need it.

I have a 6.5 Swede as well. Great caliber. I'm just a hobby gunsmith myself, but there's a guy in Indiana I can recommend. www.drkglobalmfg.com
What caliber is your FR-8?

Hello, The Fr-8 Spanish mauser is the rework labeled "308". A lot of discussion but it is the heavier bolt and action that should shoot the 308 Winchester. I have only fired 308 NATO.

I put a set trigger in a WWII sniper K98. Had to rework the stock and triggerguard to fit the new trigger in there.
Totally worth it!
