View Full Version : Colt Delta Elite NIB Stainless
I'm 2nd in line. I don't know much about these except some had issues holding up. This one is being sold by the original owner. Never fired. Two mags, box, papers, case. He said it is the "MV" when I asked about the ones that had issues. $945 delivered.
Is the MV the desired version? Is this a fair price?
Thanks
When I posted this question I did not realize that Colt still produces the Delta Elite in 10mm.

All I know is that you can tell the new ones apart from the originals by the wrap around part of the rubber grip. That little black rubber strip that covers the front strap of the grip is different on the older models. The newer ones have the diamond cut that you see on most 1911 grips. The older one is like a pebble texture.

That's a new one.

That $945 is close to the suggested retail, and if you are wanting one, don't pass it up, they are extremely rare in these parts!
Thanks! I'm interested in learning which older models have reported issues.

The early ones had a problem with frame cracks. Colt fixed the issue by removing the metal that was crackingt since it did not affect the actual operation.
I have 3. That price is slightly below MSRP of $1012.00 I paid 1200 for 2 NIB on Gunbroker. My LGS sole me one for $990.
You have a good price there.
Love my Deltas
