Another 45ACP question

Mas,
I just got a new Guncrafter No Name 45ACP with a light rail. Once it's proven reliable, I intend to use it as a bedside weapon. What ammmunition do you recommend?

Personally, I'm partial to high-tech modern 230 grain JHPs: Ranger-T, HST, Gold Dot, for example. Once you've determined that these feed in your gun, generic lower-price 230 grain ball will give you the same recoil and trajectory for training purposes.
