When I was at Conyers this past weekend for the big GSSF match a friend of mine asked me if I would make him the primer catcher that I make. It takes the place of the spent primer cup and bracket. No more spent primers bouncing out of the cup. So anyway, Iím making three of them. One for my friend and two for anyone that wants one. The way I well do it is if there are more than two people that want one. Everyone that replies to this thread, I well put their names in a hat and draw two names out. I well stop taking names after 9pm Central time 9/28/2011.
Yes they are free. Even the shipping. You well still have to buy the vinyl tubing.

Bob's setup works very slick. Thanks again for making me one a while back.

Likely something like this one. Its just a 44 mag shell drilled out, loosen the stock bracket slide the rim in and resnug the screws.

I had the bounce out problem on only one of my 650's and cured it with a section of 1/2" box tube.

I don't really need one either but kinda want to try it out. I rarely have primers miss the bucket, but would rather have a larger collection bottle for the spent ones.

I have been debating getting one of the new CNC machined ones from Uniquetek, http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/product/T1346
http://www.storesonline.com/images/common/imagewrap.img?picture.image.url=http://www.storesonline.com/members/696296/uploaded/650-primer-chute-CAD.jpg&picture.width.max=200

but being Bob is being so generous will try my luck at getting one of his.

That is close to what it looks like. It definitely is not made on a CNC machine. Aluminum base with a brass Farrell. Itís not great looking but it works and you donít see it anyway. Depending on the size of container you use. I use a baby wipe box. I empty it maybe once a year. The box sets under the strong mount.

That's a mighty kind offer you've made there, Bob. I don't own a 650, so I'm wishing everyone luck on the draw.

Jack

Yes I know you own two Dillon 1050ís. What I meant was that you could not get in on the drawing. Because you do not own a 650. 650 being the key word.

650 is not a word, it's a number. Flatlanders like you should not be allowed to own guns... or pointy objects. :whistling:

Posts numbers 2, 3, 7, 8, and 21. Yes I did put the numbers in a hat, drew out two slips of paper. Then looked to see who got them.

Yes, they are in the mail. And if the poney does not die, you should be getting them sometime next week.

Uncle Bob,
I missed the sign up date. Can/will you please show the fabrication process.
I may try it if cost is less than the Dawson part.
Thanks

I got mine Monday as well, it's installed but haven't found a container to use than I'm happy with yet so I can do the final trim on the tubing. I'll post pics after this weekend when I get more time to mess with it.

Thanks again unclebob :wavey:
