Im sure only a genius like this clown knows the true answer, and the rest of us have been winging it with luck our entire life just randomly ingesting whatever the supermarket sells us. If that luck peters out we could just pass out walking down the street without any warning at all.

Only this guy …ONLY THIS GUY knows. The rest of us are just playing Russian Roulette with our food choices.

We're living dangerously, that's for sure.

Twinkies, and a loaded super-supreme, double-meat, four-cheese, stuffed-crust pizza....with anchovies.

My wife and I had an interesting discussion about the most overall great foods:

Milk
Bananas
Blueberries
Broccoli
Soy beans

Can't remember the rest f the list.

Yeah, those are great vitamin / mineral / anti-ox foods, which are wonderful once you aren't sweating the basics of beans, rice, and wheat. Soybeans are just amazing.

According to Center for Science in the Public Interest:

Sweet taters
Mangos
Greek yogurt
Broccoli
Salmon
Crisp breads
Garbonzos
Watermelon
Squash (ew, really? uch.)
and Leafy Greens.

They also have a list of worst foods, which included, surprisingly:

Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup. 760 mg of sodium!

on that list (besides the chicken soup) the only thing I'd eat is watermelon. Rest of it doesn't really matter how healthy it is, I'd prefer ritz crackers.

Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup. 760 mg of sodium!

I like Campbells (and other brands) chicken noodle soup. I remember occasionally, as a boy, eating a teaspoonful of salt, or of salted butter, or of white sugar, too. But back then we walked a lot and bicycled a lot, and had no computers to sit in front of for hours.

Not too long ago, someone wrote in Black Belt magazine that there was no evidence that higher sodium intake was bad for people in normal health. That's what I would have thought from biology class: your kidneys are supposed to adjust the sodium excretion rate to maintain homeostasis regarding things like optimum blood pressure.

But I try not to overwork my kidneys too much these days: no more spoonsful of salt, sugar or butter.
