Didn't know about it. (Don't follow ethnic holidays that closely, though.)
My German side of the family is from Germantown, PA, too. ;)

P.S. - Hug your German Shepherd Dog too.
Although not strictly of German heritage part of my ancestry is comprised of German people, back in the day, as is my wife's. A lot of places in Missouri my home state is German settlements in origin. One place I know of you can visit and see the names of certain buildings all being in German.
Thanks Horror. Prosit.

One person celebrated a little too much by comparing Pres Obama to Hitler. He got kicked off Monday Night Football!
I'm about as German as it gets. I was actually born in Nuremburg. Sadly, in the 25 years I have been a cop in Texas, I am quite sure I have eaten ten times as much Mexican food as I have German food.
I have two birth certificates, German and American. Trying to figure out some way to use that to my benefit.
Guten Tag Amigo!
