It's pretty bad that as Chief you can't even get your officers a proper communication system. He is a very good officer/chief and it's sad to see him go. Oakland continues it's spiral downward.

Guess I have a bit of mixed feelings on him... the last thing I read, which was about a week ago, was his big campaign to discipline officers who cursed on duty... I guess if this were Beverly Hills I could understand, but Oakland is one of the most dangerous cities in America and the Police Chief is focused on officers cursing while on duty?

What's even worse, is I read where an officer was disciplined for cursing in his vehicle when no one else was around, but it was recorded.
