I received a E-mail traffic ticket, from New York. It is dated 7/02/11
I have never been to new york!!

NEW YORK STATE POLICE
Local Police Code 200
THE PERSON DESCRIBED ABOVE IS CHARGED AS FOLLOWS

Time: 7:25 AM
Date of Offense: 07/02/2011
IN VIOLATION OF NYS V AND T LAW

387 Description of Violation
SPEED OVER 55 ZONE

TO PLEAD, PRINT OUT THE ENCLOSED TICKET AND SEND IT TO TOWN COURT, CHATAM HALL., PO BOX 117

I received the exact same one last week.......Wonder if there's a spammer getting email info from GT or other gun websites? :dunno:

I got mine yesterday...kinda funny as I was in New York around that time. I noticed that there was an attachment included with the "ticket". I hope no one opened it as this is a really good way to introduce a virus to a computer.

Use an online badge builder, make a nice example up, and email it back to them, telling them you were "on the job" and you demand professional courtesy!

Had someone call this in to dispatch...hadn't heard of it happening before, but concluded it was nonsense.
