......the stunning incident featured a cashier with a criminal past violently beating two female customers after they appear to provoke him by slapping him and then hopping the counter........The cashier disappears into the back of the fast-food restaurant on West Fourth Street in Greenwich Village before returning with a metal rod he then used viciously on the two customers.

The future of things to come.....But all they wanted was a happy meal...

Lock 'em in a room, bury the loser and arrest the winner. There are no victims here, only volunteers.

Charge 'em all, let the DA sort it out.

He'd have been good if he had stopped and not kept attacking them.

They slap him and jump the counter. He's justified in defending himself. Now, going overboard with the pole is what screwed him. But I have to honestly say the two females deserve everything they got.

Wonder if the $50 was real after all?

Appears to me that the two females attempted a "strong armed" robbery when they breached the customer area... the employee valiantly defended himself and his fellow employees during the first four or so swings with the metal bar, at great risk to his safety and personal freedom considering his past history... :whistling:

I'm having a slight problem explaining the next twelve swings... might I suggest that he fell into a state of "excited delirium"

Looks good to me. I'll be it does make me uncomfortable that he is swinging so much. You have to ask though, how many connected? What were the females doing behind the counter on the ground, were they still fighting him, and taking jabs at him? As far as the "excited delirium", MEH, he kept whompin' till they were no longer a threat. Would any of us done differently? Too bad his past criminal history is going to make his defense difficult. I say give him a pass, the B*TCHES deserved it.

no need to file charges on anyone.

a quick beer summit with BO will clear everything up.

Si'.

Hey, Ex Felons need to work and that was what he was doing. Maybe a warning under his name tag that reads - Careful, employee might have a short fuse.

I bet they head to BK now cuz they can get it their way.

I believe this to be a classic example of "Don't start none, won't be none".

They deserved the beat down. It's to bad the gent with the rod had to be arrested. Just goes to show how worthless NY is. It's so screwed up now the Indians wouldn't take it back.

His only crime was extending the beatdown. Otherwise, he should embrace his victimhood.

The two female perps learned a valuable lesson.....You just never know who you're dealing with.....I guess they thought the guy behind the counter wearing the "paper hat" was easy prey......:dunno:

I'd agree with the sentiment here, they started it, no reason he can't defend himself.

No reason he couldn't stop once they were down and not a threat.

No different than that pharmacist that stopped a robbery, shot one guy, chased the other guy out of the pharmacy, only to return, walk past the downed robber with his back, grab another gun and return to finish off the robber.

We shoot to stop, not to wound, not to kill. Same goes with a beatdown.
You stop when the threat is over.

We are trained to stop. Most of the public, nor he - I suspect, wasn't and he didn't have sense enough to stop when he legally should have. I wonder how violent he was prior to prison - it looks like he snapped.

Props to him for working though. Enough felons just continue on.
