My employer is switching vendors so I got to take home some left overs from our last vendor.
I got 14 tin anode balls. Two inches in diameter. One pound each.
Here's the alloy specs:
http://www.carteralloys.com/tin.html
Chemical Analysis
Tin Sn 99.952%
Antimony Sb 0.0121%
Copper Cu 0.0017%
Lead Pb 0.0195%
Iron Fe 0.0023%
Bismuth Bi 0.0016%
Arsenic As 0.0017%
Zinc Zn 0.0005%
Aluminum Al 0.0008%
Cadmium Cd 0.0001%
Sulphur S 0.0001%
Nickel Ni <5 ppm
Cobalt Co <5 ppm
Silver Ag <5 ppm
At WW + 2% Tin, I'll need 700lbs of lead to make a nice alloy. Next stop: scrap yard!
