LoneWolf conversion for EDC

I currently have a G23 and was considering using a conversion kit to 9MM so that my BUG and EDC would be the same caliber. I can't afford a second gun at this time.

Are there any concerns about this plan or should I leave it a .40 and carry the 9MM as BUG?
