View Full Version : AR15 GATE.... no longer operating?
Is that forum group no longer accepting inquiries? Last entry was weeks ago.
From what I've seen the GATE forums are a waste of space.

Most of 'em, but having the ability to ask Mas questions is REALLY nice.

Mas's is the only one I ever check.
Low traffic and slow replies-I asked about the torque poundage on the castle nut on a buffer tube and then staking it, get's submitted and then I guess answered when the AR15 expert gets around to it. Oh well, there is always ARFCOM, the technical sections.

I'll email Harrison directly if I need a very particular question answered. If it's REALLY important, I'll just drive to his shop and he'll explain/fix/whatever in person. He's local to me.
If I just want to read about the AR platform, I certainly don't go over to arfcom.
I'll go over to M4Carbine.net. I just go and search around there and read read read. More information there than you could possibly ever go through in any one lifetime.
there is alot of sponser bias-- but you can glean good info on occasion.
Never believe what you read or see on the internet discussion forum-- quadruple check the sources--- !Agree.

I no longer have time to answer the questions, I thought in the beginning it was for tech questions not product questions "like which sight should I use" I asked them to find someone else but it looks like they never did.
