Mas - Think it would be OK to carry this round in the .357 LCR? What I mean is, would it be to stout for the gun? I figure if the LCR can handle .357 it can handle the Buffalo Bore round but I am not sure.

Thanks, Stan

Buffalo Bore makes great ammo and Ruger makes great guns. However, ammo companies can't test their stuff in every gun, and gunmakers can't test their product with every known round of ammo. That Buffalo Bore load is pretty warm.

I'd suggest getting a box, measuring the cartridges, and of each load of five, firing four and then examining and measuring the remaining cartridge. As an ammo industry rule, lead bullets aren't crimped as tight as jacketed. Measure the last round to see if recoil momentum from the first four has caused the fifth one's bullet to pull forward in the case. If it has, that would be a contraindication to using it in that particular, light gun. If it hasn't, I'd call it good to go.
