Time to petition the Court to void that citation. :dunno:

Goodyear has a man? I thought they had a blimp. I thought Michelin was the only tire company with a man...

Jeez, some people will do anything to get out of a ticket.

When I was a kid, with my father's car, that might have been an option.

He wanted the immediate justice option.

I have to thank the man for not injuring or killing the LEO, or forcing the LEO to kill him. I respect him more for his decision to not be selfish.

...I am clear with a warning, break... You might want to send EMS, the driver seems to be having a medical issue.

So it was a red car, huh? Well, that explains a lot. I'm not surprised....

All I can say is that it is interesting when something like that happens.

I was going to make some sort of morbid comment about maybe he wanted his interior to match the paint job, but on second thought I don't think I should say that.

Had a guy attempt suicide by cop this week, thank god he didn't go that route.

We had a guy suicide out on a pursuit we had here years ago. To me that was better than having one of the officers shoot him.

I have had a person suicide on me just once. It was a MWAG call I was with county on, the lady unloaded on us, then tried to shoot her husband trapped in the attic, and when we made entry to stop that, she turned it on herself instead. I was lead on the stack, and I remember seeing my aimpoint dot floating on her, her arm with the gun coming up - past me, fast as lighting into her mouth and "pop."

I'll never understand what makes people tick ... but having been in a similar one, I can imagine the officer's "WTF meter" was pegged.
