That is under dealer cost. What BX/PX are they selling firearms?

Eglin AFB. They have 45s for $672, and tacticals for $1099. I just really liked the 40.

You did great and got the preferred version w/o front serrations. Is it a USG model? I've got an FNX40, great guns.

I think I would have had to buy that deal! So, yes, you got a good deal.

with 5 mags? Heck yeah! Give us a report, I have my eye on one sat my local pawn shop. Used for $500 tho., and only two mags.

Would be a deal with that many mags and being an FN. Not sure what they usually go for but $411.00 with five mags has to be a deal.

I'm sure mags aren't real cheap if you bought them individually.

They go for around $550 here with three magazines. You did better than good.

Purchased at FN sale event, came with 5 magazines. 3 10 Rd, and 2 14 Rd. After shooting 100 rounds of FMJ Winchester ammo, I found this handgun to be easy to control, reliable and very accurate. 25 feet accuracy is dead on. 50 and 80 feet will get some spread, but nothing out of the ordinary. Comes with choice of 2 backstraps. I recommend this weapon for anyone who is looking for a reliable, inexpensive and accurate self defense / duty pistol. Overall I am very please with purchase and would buy it again.

Total round count at purchase: Factory test fired only.
Rounds fired during first range session: 100 Winchester FMJ
Malfunctions of any kind: 0
Problem areas: None
Accuracy out of the box: Very good to Excellent

Helluva deal! I bought my FNX .40 in the spring for $500 with 3 mags from CDNN. Asked my FFL guy how much if I just buy it from him and he said $500 was under his cost! LOL! I love my FNX. Very reliable, accurate, and points great. Its what I CC.

FNXs are a lot more expensive for some reason. FNX next my FNP was 588. The only difference I could notice was a side safety lever. So 500 for FNX is a good deal. :)

I just got an fnp-9 with night sights a few weeks ago. Great gun. You got a great deal on yours.

Extra mags are about 45 dollars.

Mine came with 3 16 round mags. I saw dealers offering 3 10 rounders and 2 16 rounders but waited to find one with standard capacity mags.

Very cool. I just bought a FNP-40 recently as well, but it was completely out of impulse and while I do not regret it...I don't really have a use for it.

I paid $430 for mine new, same as yours but all black with 5 mags. Came with 200 rounds of ammo.

The gun is an EXCELLENT shooter...and the quality of the gun is really amazing for how little these guns are going for right now. I just don't really have a use for a full sized .40 pistol. I would carry it but nobody seems to make affordable holsters for them.

I bought mine as an investment. Who knows what next election is going to bring. I have a Glock 22 that I carry on duty, and like you said lack of holsters prevents it from being an either carry or duty piece. However, it's awesome at the range to put my friends with "accurized" weapons to shame with just a regular off the shelf pistol. :)

Great gun! I almost bought a FNX a few months back. I passed it up but I wish I didn't. It's one fine shooting gun and the actions was surprisingly slick!

I will certainly be getting one in the future!

At that price, you did great and came home with a great deal!

Anything from FN is always a good deal! They make great guns. The only gun that I currently have from them is the FN SPR A3G rifle. It's a tack driver for sure!

FN has some good stuff and it's worth every penny!
