Cast Lead thru a C model barrel?

I've read that many run their hard cast lead reloads thru factory Glock barrels with no ill effects. (I shoot 40 cal reloads thru an aftermarket barrel in my G32 but don't reload 357).

I'm interested in picking up a 22C model and was wondering if the barrel ports shave lead or cause any other problems with cast lead bullets.

I have a 19C, 23C and 17C, and shoot cast (Missouri Bullets) through them all.

I've shot 1'000's and they all are very accurate with the 124 small balls. No shaving to worry about either.

Update.... I just shot 300 Missouri IDP #2's though my G 22c, and they were all tack drivers. Doing a steel match tonight and I found Clays at 3.2 gr with a coal of 1.150 made some incredibly accurate loads with little recoil. Moving to 3.5 gr. had slightly more recoil but the accuracy stayed dead on. After 300 there was no leading or shaving.

As a side note, I found that ATF fluid is an excellent lead remover inside the barrel.
