I was going to pick this up tonight so I can install my lower kit, does this set have every size needed for trigger and catch pin?

No reason it shouldn't. I have a set from Sears.

Only thing you need a punch for is finishing off the bolt catch and trigger guard pins. When I built my lower I got away with just using a 1/38 punch I had. Make sure you cover the lower with a layer of masking tape with duck tape over that, and support the ears of the trigger guard while pounding on it.

I second the taping of things. The prep to do that will save you some aggravation. I ended up with a small scratch on the bolt catch area and it pissed me off.

Anybody use the tapped vise grip method?

No, but I used a small c-clamp on the trigger guard pin.

The $15 auto center punch from home depot quickly became one of my must have gunsmithing tools. I used it to intall both bolt catch and trigger guard roll pins. Also used it to remove fsb botom mounted sling swivel and rivot. Much more precision control, takes about 5 or 6 hits to achieve a nice clean job. Does a great job for staking the castle nut as well. I even used it to dimple a 10/22 barrel for a set screw type muzzle device that finally held in place with a little jp weld.

It won't replace a good set of punches but it certainly is a handy tool to add to your set.
