Got a great deal at Glocktoberfest a few weeks ago, and finally got around to having the XS Big Dot sights installed on G20SF. Here are the results:

Really took a liking to these after carrying around G33 for a while. It has the same XS Big Dots installed, too. I hope that I can still hit something with this thing, anyway.

Picked up some Federal 190 gr. bonded JHP while I was there to see what that shoots like. Not even sure if it'll work in this pistol. It's part number XM1003A, and was around $23 for 50 rounds. Going to go check the sight now to make sure they'll shoot :)

Looks awesome man.

Got mine in last week, but need to learn how to put them on. Don't want to mess up my G20. They look great on your gun. Hope you like them on the range.

Theyre easy to install yourself, I did mine on my own with just what they sent with the sights. The trickiest part is making sure the sights are centered and straight. A straight edge should help. I used a small six inch ruler to extend the sides of the front sight out to make sure it was straight. The rear sight I eyeballed to center, measuring as best I could. It turned out well!

Thanks, Dan. I'm looking forward to sending some lead downrange soon. Found out that the Federal Classic stuff is actually nice ammo, too, so I'll be hitting LGS to start hacking away at their inventory.

The place where I bought them installs them for no charge, so I just let them do it. They've installed sights I've purchased from them for my other Glocks, and so far I've been able to use those pistols with no sight-related problems.

Please keep us posted with a range report, ideally comparing it to your 33 with the same setup.

I Have a set on my 19, have only used them twice, but I'm pretty sure I love 'em. I seem to ring the steel plates a little faster/easier with these. If I still like them as much or more after another time out or two I may put a set on my 20SF or a 26, I can't decide. But, if I get another set and like them on that gun too, and my wife likes them, they may very well go onto every Glock I own. I let 4 other people try them and they were pleasantly surprised too.

Thanks man. I will likely try to put them on this weekend.

Interested in POA/POI w/ heavier bullets when you find out.... They look good!

Any range report comparing the sights on the 20SF to the 33?

I just installed a set on my G20 and went to the range yesterday for the first time. I love em!! Instead of trying to line up with a traditional 3 sight system, i put that big dot center mass, and started pulling the trigger. Sweet!

Targets are just as easy to hit as ever. Here is my latest outing with the G20 (a G34 and a Kimber Solo, also...)

If you go 20 or 26 with the XS sights, I think that you'll be just fine. I actually like the sights during daylight on the G20. The front sight is really quick to pick up!

Good to hear! Just wondering if you noticed any immediate discernible difference in POA/POI. Of course bullet weight/velocity/etc. make a difference.

I noticed the sights to be quick to aim, too.

I think I'll get another set soon.

Pretty much the same experience here, almost too easy when I'm "in the zone."

And as I mentioned before, others I let try them for the first time were pleasantly surprised as well.

I was inspired to take some shots of the XS-equipped Glocks, so here you go:

Even with the difference in sight radius between the two, they both shoot accurately at the close ranges I shoot.

I put some TFO's on my son's G30 and he's not liking them out past 12 yards. He may need some seat time with them but he's already mentioned my XS Big Dots. I think I'm going to add some to my newly aquired G33.
