Finances, boredom, and the need has driven me back. I hope to be back in uniform in the next 30 days, medical release finally allows me to return to what I love.

Chief, whether you're coming back to LE or some other field is secondary. Just glad you're well enough medically.

Good to have you back!

I went out on medical 09-26-10, however 03-15-11 I went out on the mandantory 6mo. medical with POST. I look foward to whatever awaits me in the field, and seeing the direct deposits so I can build up mad money again!

I just don't do "can't", I never give up, never give into pain.

Chief, whether you're coming back to LE or some other field is secondary. Just glad you're well enough medically.THIS is the honest to God's truth, right there... that's the main thing.

I went out on medical 09-26-10, however 03-15-11 I went out on the mandantory 6mo. medical with POST. I look foward to whatever awaits me in the field, and seeing the direct deposits so I can build up mad money again!I remember your thread from before about the health problems, very glad to hear you're well enough to get back on that horse!

I just don't do "can't", I never give up, never give into pain.I know exactly how you feel. I was in a shooting class one time, and one of the students was talking about getting a holster with cant.

I told her, "In this game, mindset is everything. Do not give in to a negative attitude like that. Get yourself a holster than CAN!"

I can do a straight face through almost anything, you should have seen the look on her face when she thought I was serious... priceless...

So Chief, now that you're well enough, I'm looking forward to a real Southern style homecoming (yours), with BBQ and fish fry and some real moonshine.

Of course, I'll provide the breakfast bagels (yeah, I'm hoping the party will last till the next morning).

Just saying... :whistling:

Not sure yet, weighing a few options, may look hard at a chiefs job.
