Its about that time of year I make a bulk primer - powder order. How are the primer prices now, still high or have they come down any? My last order was with powder valley..

I am not sure if they still have them but Graf & Sons was offering CCI 500 primers for $115 per 5,000 a short while ago. Also, Powder Valley had the Tula primers for $20 per 1,000.

Wolf at Powder Valley are $15.50 per 1,000. I don't use anything else.

Just went to a local gun show (St. Louis) this morning, best price on CCI Lg/Sm pistol was $135/5000. Best part, no Haz-Mat. Sometimes you can actually find them for $24/1000 at gun shows.

I've been shooting Wolf for a couple of years now. Cheap and always go bang. I don't carry reloads. I also shoot a lot of lead since I'm only punching paper. Half the price of others works for me.

Primer prices are falling. I just got 5k for $99 in CCI 300.

Ah well. I'm sure some people are still enjoying their case of $250 stripped lowers. ;)

Looks like it. Magtech primers on sale at Grafs. $99 per 5,000.
