Hello, Im looking for a couple ar-15 parts. Mil-spec buffer tube and castle nut. I know I can use google search to find the cheapest one which I have but I was wondering if anyone has a site they really like and use often that has good prices and good service. any input is appreciated.

Bought from AIM surplus too--good service and products. DSG and Ranier are also good.

I like Rainier, but AIM and JoeBob are supposed to be great too.

I like aim alot and they also have a mil-spec buffer tube for $12.95 and a castle nut for like $4 but after shipping it was gonna be like 34 dollars and I cant think of anything else to order to make it worth while

Whole set-up for $40 shipped. Can't hurt to have extra parts or sell what you don't need.

When I was looking for sights and mags a guy here who is a site sponsor(or at least he advertises here on GT) responded to my thread and told me he would hook me up with whatever I needed. He did indeed.

I looked at his site as far as stocks and tubes and found these...

Aim has always been good when I have needed parts.
I ordered a YHM wrench from JoeBobs outfitters. They were the cheapest for the part, great shipping price and it shipped and was delivered in 3 days.
I have also ordered from Primary Arms, last sling I ordered from them I ordered on a Friday night and had the sling that Monday.
BCM, ADCO, Palmetto State, are also some of the others I order from and have never had a problem with any of those companies.

HamLund Tactical has some of the best prices on MagPul stuff, not sure how it compares on other parts. Shipping is $6.50 flat rate, and free if your order is $150 or higher. Always recieve my order in rural podunk in 2-3 days as well.

I just bought this:

http://palmettostatearmory.com/1648.php

from PSA for $50, plus some other stuff, shipping was $7. I had it in a few days.

I am using it to convert one of our old surplus m16s at work so our shorter statured (short armed) officers can use the rifle better.
i'll assign them all to the same car
