View Full Version : It's just like GOLD!
I just received my first 1,000 Starline cases today! I know it's not nearly as much as I'm sure most of you stock but it's my first 1,000 and now I can really start shooting my G20SF! I'm going to load up some rounds with Autocomp (tame loads. I'll build up slowly) and let 'er rip!
Good Job, I'm not to far behind you, I hope to get started by the first of the year. Tis my goal for my first 1000 for my G 20
Tip from C4W from an earlier post:
Run the chamfer tool on the new brass to keep the shell from sticking on the expander/powder die.
He mentioned that they'll be easier to reload after they've been fired once, too.
I'm really about 10mm, because the projectiles are the same as .40 S&W, and that helps keep the costs down even further. The downside to that are the die adjustments when switching from one caliber to the other. I may get a dedicated set of dies for each in the future, however.
Good for you Reboot! It is very addictive! Oh yea the prices are getting closer to old gold prices but gold has soared! The high was $1900 per oz...
I'm glad they are not Gold in one respect, but if they were I'd cash in! :wow:

Try using a large washer as a spacer. Adjust dies for 40's, then add spacer for 10's.
Im glad it's not actually as expensive as gold but since 10mm cases arent as plentiful as .40 or .45 I know I'll spend more time chasing these suckers down at the range.
RCBS and Redding actually make die spacers, there were three different thicknesses. I use the 1/8" thick 7/8" spacer the most...
SWEET!! I wish I would have bought 1000 starline cases from the get. I have been getting them 200 at a time and am up to about 600. Waste of excess shipping!!! Oh well live and learn! Blue Dot is a fun powder for the big 10 also.
Yes, yes, tell more! Love my 10mm! Especially the hot handloaded 200 grain XTP's.
