Has anyone worked up a load to duplicate the 115 grain Lawman 9mm fmj?
Advertised velocity 1200fps. Shooting a stock Glock 19.

Thanks,

6.0gr of Unique should get you pretty close.

Well, advertized vel means almost nothing, I doubt they were taking readings in a G19. So yo uare looking for basic 9mm/115gr ball ammo. Most will make 1150fps in a G19. Just about any powder in th ebooks will get you that safely. So what do you want to load?

Wanting to know if anyone has taken the Lawman ammo and chronographed it and worked up a load using a common 115 grain fmj bullet, primer, etc. I sold my chrony a few years ago. I chose this type of ammo as it is not +P but has the velocity of 1200 advertised that matches it counterpart 115 grain Gold Dot.

Again, easily done w/ maybe 12 diff powders, so if you have a reloading manual or three, just look up 1200fps in a 115gr bullet.:dunno:

I haven't chrono'd 115 Lawman, but 124 9mm Lawman and other calibers of Lawman are close to their advertised velocities, unlike lesser brands of practice ammo, so like Fred said most any data that predicts 1,200 fps should be real close to what you want.
