I should have never gotten rid of my Daniel Defense. I got AK fever, and just had to have one, but after shooting a pal's Colt, I want another AR.

I'll not make that mistake again.

That's one thing I never had a hankering to own -AK. After handling and shooting them they just never sparked that amount of interest! Glad you've come back-now go buy or build an AR!

I like AK's. I just don't like shooting them very much. Give me a good AR any day, I don't care what the mall ninjas say about reliability.

I give a slight edge to the AR only because I can reload them more quickly and easily. Before anybody throws out a caliber/stopping power issue, let me qualify my statement by saying that my go to AR's are in the caliber of thier original design - 7.62.

My AK is looking for a home. My AR's are breeding.

I picked up an AK after a while of wanting one.
Recently sold it and picked up another AR15 upper.

My AK's outnumber my AR's (easily). But I enjoy them both. For me, so far, I find the AK platform to have a lot more character. But still learning about both.

Anyway, it is definitely not an "either/or" situation for me. The more the merrier.

I've pretty much never been anything but sorry when I sold ANY black rifle of mine, ever.
