with colder weather approaching here in MI, i cant seem to put my shoulder holster away and im afraid its gonna carry over into the summer months if i get in to a habit....obviously looking for a new carry technique and i have the typical "holster drawer" at home so besides like the small of back carry and the 4 o'clock position...what are some other easy and comfortable techniques that involve alot of sitting and getting in and out of vehicles probably 10 times a day?

not sure about how "concealed" you need to be but have you tried OWB? very comfortable and works well getting in and out of cars. and do you have a good belt? i.e. one that cant be bought at retail store.

The old Bianchi #4/4L is pretty comfortable. And if anyone tries to snatch my fully-loaded G17 and shoot me with it, they'll have an inert G17 in their hands with my Otapin inserted in it.

I carry my g23 appendix 12'oclock and find it comfortable. I have a custom kydex holster and am currently sitting eating dinner and have no discomfort.

I carry a 23, in Michigan. 90% of the time I wear a Don Hume jit slide. Small enough to easily conceal but its OWB so my gun doesn't freeze to my belly. (I carry at 1:30)

Galco makes a very nice shiny dress belt. Sb3 I believe is the one I bought.

12 O'Clock would be your belt buckle and on around like a clock (3 being your right hip, 6 small of back, 9 left hip).

To the OP, I carry at 3:30 in a CBST in and out of the car and it has always been comfortable.

Do you have a gut?

My job awarded me with a beer gut, so I have to go 1:30

Took me a few months. Now I do my best but if someone sees my gun and freaks out, I figure that's their problem.

true, i feel the same way however, i dont want that person freaking out to be my boss! lol...i like my job and with one of the owners being an avid hunter i think it should be fine to carry...however he never exactly said "dont carry it here" he just kind of frowned upon it....so what he doesnt know wont hurt him and i feel much safer carrying when im on the road with a customer that i kno nothing about.....

Try a Remora IWB holster. No belt loops to mess with and it stays where you put it, whether strong or weak side, high or low.

G19 in a supertuck at 3:30.Iwear it all day from the moment I wake up until I hit the sack(except for at work, but on the way though), and no issues with comfort. I am 6'3" 180lbs, and get in and out of cars multiple times a day, and have no discomfort at all.

Today I ate thanksgiving dinner at my girl friends mothers place. Her mother and friends are not gun lovers and I carried my G19 all day from 1:30 until 7:30 and was never spotted(I knew I wouldn't). It is a great setup for concealment, and the comfort is amazing. I highly recommend this setup for anyone looking for a very concealable yet highly comfortable holster.

Not to mention the G19 supertuck works for the glock models: 17,19,22,23,25,31,32,34,35

So when I take the plunge and finally buy my G17 and/or 23 I already have a holster to carry them in.
