Be aware that the "John has a long mustache" and the "The chair is against the wall" messages, have a more historic meaning.
These messages were radioed to the French resistance in the hours before D-Day landing to coordinate the attacks and cause disruption of German opposition.

No kidding. When I saw the title of the thread I thought someone was refering to the movie "The Longest Day."

Same here. Red Dawn didn't even come to mind.I think Red Dawn put those lines in the movie to pay homage to the D-Day invasion.
