She arrived yesterday!! My 14.7" CHF bbl pinned rifle kit + some magazines, ammo and tools. Mounted on Palmetto lower that I got during the labor day sale, which you guys made me aware of.

My buddy helped me make sure everything was there

After I put the lower together (thanks to the info I found on ARFCOM. I had never done this before and it turned out perfect)

And this is her in her current shape! I'm waiting for my Aimpoint PRO and ARMS BUIS to arrive, probably at the end of this week.

Thank you SO much guys, for all the help and insight. I've been wanting one of these for years!! Can't wait to take it to the range this weekend. So far, everything feels very smooth and well, "new". I love it!!

Can't wait to get to the range. And I got confirmation that my Aimpoint and BUIS were shipped yesterday. I think I'll have them here in time for the weekend.

Thank you all for your help picking the rifle kit, etc. Couple months ago I had no idea you could build your own AR!

That's a mean lookin' gun with the MOE stuff and the carry handle.

Very appealing to the eye.

I say shoot it with irons and post more pics!!

Not likely, they've got a lot of work to do to get to that point. BCM puts quality above all else, even sales. They don't compromise on parts, that's why some uppers stay out of stock for months on end. PSA has had some teething issues with some of there uppers quality control.

Not sure if you've seen it or not, but look up the Improved Battlesight Zero.

Great way to use irons...
