I recently purchased a Glock 21 and am looking at all the different types of holsters for it. What are your favorite holsters for the glock?

I carry a G27 in a Blackhawk #5 and in a Desantis Dual Carry. I like them both.

For a OWB holster you can spend a lot of money but you will never get one better than the Glock Sport/Combat.

This is from someone with drawers full of holsters.

I have absolutely LOVED my Don Hume H715M W.C. for my G21SF. I used it for a year with the G21SF, now I still use the same holster for my G29. I've now carried the G29 in it for 9 months. So, it's 1 year, 9 months old, and is still perfect. I couldn't ask for a better holster. It's small, comfortable, and clips on and off quickly and easily. It stays where it's put, and holds the gun well. Best of all, it cost $27.

I use a Comp-Tac CTAC for my G26 and I'm very pleased with it. I prefer to use a Kydex-type holster for my Glocks. Hard plastic trigger guard and the 'snap' lets me know it is secured upon holstering.

That's my pick too. They are great holsters & with the inside out straps they become a good OWB holster & a good IWB holster.
Rob does a fantastic job.

I think Safariland makes excellent holsters - especially for cops and OC'ers. VERY solidly built, & with retention such that a polar bear couldn't snatch it from your belt without having to kill you first.

Bianchi 82 carrylok, $50+ at optics planet for my 1911 and G20. Whats cool is the 1911 will fit the G20 holster but not the reverse. Very comfy owb and is locked in until you release it with the tab button your middle finger engages while drawing.

I run a Cuda for both my Glock 17 Gen 4 and my 1911, which I also use a Hellweg setup for. I have a Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake for a S&W 3" 65. Rob's designs are super functional pieces of leather. Just my $0.02.

I carry strong hand with a 3/slot pancake holster from Bianchi or i'll carry shoulder holster.

Now when drive for long distances i use 2 holsters if i carry strong side.First i carry my strong side 3/slot pancake holster and then i carry an open top paddle holster on my right side.

It's to hard to draw left handed from a seated position in a car,so i switch sides with the paddle holster and when i get out i just unclip the paddle holster and put it in the glove box and put my gun back in my strong carry holster.

Can't believe it was all the way down to post #22 before someone mentioned Theis. Toms friendly customer service and quality are second to none. I was new to IWB and purchased one for my G36, after wearing it for a couple of weeks wasn't comfortable with it. called Tom and he spent some time with some tips and told me to wear it until I had made a decision and then return it if i wasn't happy, regardless of the time. I now have 2 and one of them is worn daily every minute I'm awake.

Holy cow holster thread 329! The CB Supertuck and the MTAC are the two top usually with a bunch of other stuff thrown in between. I carry 3 different guns in 2 different CB holsters. One is a Walther Stainless 380 that I've had over 20 years and the other holster carries a G30 and a Taurus PT145 both 45 acp's. Hours and hours every day carrying these guns no issues what so ever.

Looks like it would be comfortable, but I am always wondering why so many people like it over the Crossbreed style.

The soft material does not allow for one handed re-holstering like crossbreed. Also, the clip being on the gun seems like it will print more than clips that are spaced apart and not on the gun.

That is just my observations, but I have not used it myself. What do you think? How does it add up to the crossbreed style?
