I pray every day that we could go back in time and you'd see it coming.

You are missed.

Very few sheeple will even be aware that you remembered the 5-year anniversary of his sacrifice.

But now we here on CT do, and all of us mourn.

How much better a place would the world have been if the murderer had died instead in a fiery crash, before he took a life that was actually worth something. Unlike his own.

I know exactly how you feel. Exactly.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

RIP.

I know the feeling. We are making our way to the two year mark with our. We are supposed to get the full story of what happened next month in a presentation by ateamer's agency. I might skip it. I was there. I don't need to go there again.

The years don't make it any easier. The emotions come swelling back up just like it was that day you heard about it. You try to suppress it but you feel it with every cell of your being. It is just who we are and there's nothing we can do but mourn and honor the heroes.

Seems like yesterday. I worked that night, I remember the sounds, the emotions. I remember the rest of the city needed to keep helping others while we grieved, even while this incident continued.

RIP friend.

In that case, it's very possible we drank together. Ken and I went to high school together. Ken went to college, then took some time off. When he went back, we went together. Sucks.

I'm sure we did then. Sadly, I probably drank with everyone on campus, in town and 2/3rd's of the county. I miss college. :tequila::tequila::tequila::tequila::tequila::tequila:
