My dad had just shy of 11 years OTJ when this happened. I was 9.

I remember watching the news, and thinking how Daniel Faulkner kinda looked like my dad....

I live on the same block I did when I was 9; I sit just about 5.6 miles away by the crow's flight from 13th/Locust...

I respect the DA's decision. This will prevent this savage and his idiot, unwashed supporters from getting more attention.

Now, off to general population you go, Wesley.

I disagree with the DA's decision. Dropping cases in the interest of expediency or the likelihood of winning is fine for the small stuff. This case is something where it needs to be all or nothing. When it comes to murder of a true innocent victim, especially of a police officer, you don't give up. Press onward, demand 100% of what he has coming and don't rest until he is dead by the executioner's hand.

May he spend the rest of his existence being the most popular guy at shower time.

**** Wesley Cook.

This is a great message: If something is hard...just give up.

My condolences to Maureen Faulkner.

Seems to be our "new approach" to legal issues. CA decided to let them out because of cost. It isn't worth the time to catch illegals "'cause it costs too much". My dad was right.

Well, less money spent, and less notoriety.
