Quick question guys, what other manufacturers have about the same finish as BCM. I'd hate to have an ugly mis matched lower with the BCM upper.

How about a BCM lower to go with that BCM upper?

Lol I've been thinking about mating a S&W M&P lower, The upper Without a BCG and charging handle is $740. itll be like 900 with those missing parts, then i still need sights ( Troy Flip-ups) and i dont wanna break the bank on a lower. I will upgrade one day, possibly when i start another AR build.

These's always gonna be a slight mismatch on upper to lower because they are most likely anodized and phosphated at different times by possibly different shops. For best match get the same mfg.

I have mounted BCM, LMT, Spikes, Surplus Arms and Ammo, and Colt lowers to BCM uppers.

The only one that did not match was the BCM lower. True story.

Oh no my upper and lower don't match! All the boys will make fun of me.

Sorry had to be said.

My BCM upper doesn't match my BCM lower. I really couldn't care less.

That's 2 people in this thread saying that. Strange.

Just get a BCM lower from Grant and be done with it.

It really isn't bad. I embellished to make a point: That the functional capability of a rifle is more important that cosmetics.

BCM's own ads say "Safe queen curators need not apply." I would guess they would just as rather have a "Fit and finish, fudd shooter" not purchase their rifles than hear constant bickering about the "upper and lower wobble" or "upper and lower finishes being different."

Here's my BCM. I ordered both halves seperate. With camera you can see a slight purple hue to the lower. Without camera it isn't even noticable. It's a working gun so even if it did show, I don't care.

I have 2 BCM's. I bought the uppers and lowers separately and they
are not a perfect match. One is very close, while the other lower is
a little more dull.
As long as I can make head shots on the Zombies at 100 yards, They
won't care and neither do I. Neither are built as "Safe Queens".
Just keep em' clean, lubed, and loaded.

Doesnt matter to me either. But... A brand with such high quality control, you would think their finish would be consistent.

Who cares.. does it run? is it of high quality? Mine both match and they were bought a few months apart.

Mine acutally match pretty well BCM upper on a late 90s vintage Bushmaster lower. Me like rocking the snake.

Mine don't match. Not that I care.

My Spikes lower is a better match for my BCM upper than my BCM lower. I'm really not that impressed with BCM lowers, but they work and that's all that matters.
