So, BIL that does reloading wants a gas check maker (dye?) for Christmas. Does anyone actually use them for 9mm? Where can I get one?

There's a guy that makes dies to make them from soda cans. I've read reviews of it on another forum by a few users. Accuracy was mixed. My personal impression of it was it was a dud. I also don't see the need for GC in 9mm.

A few months back, I've made the switch to using only aluminum checks for my .30 cal boolits. I was able to purchase them for a fraction of the price of copper checks.

Up to date, I cannot tell the difference between the two materials in terms of performance except one costs $16/k and the other $30/k.
