so i traded my 357 mag for a G32. can you hunt with this round? would it be better if i upgraded to a 16" barrel with a mech tech system?
thanks
Can you? Depends on your state laws.
I can't think of much you'd be taking shots at other than javelina and the occasional 'yote.
While the cartridge I wouldn't hesitate too much to use on deer, the glock as the platform I think is the limiting factor. And if you're going to be using a better suited handgun then you might as well go for a better suited cartridge as well.

Not sure about a .357, but my brother has killed a couple of deer with a 1911.

DOnt use a 9mm bullet, I would use at least 10mm
I use my G32 for coyotes...I just got a 10mm for deer
I would think 357sig would be fine as long as you limited your distance, used a good bullet and hit the right spot. 155gr pill going at 1350fps? That will do some damage.
I've gotten three deer this year, each of them within about 10 yards. I used a crossbow but I'm pretty darn sure my Sig 226 would have put them down quite well, too.
Again, see paragraph 1.
