I have bore snakes for my 9mm, 38/357, .22 and .44 guns. I don't see one sold for 10mm guns, but there must be a size that will fit the 10mm. Anyone know if there is a bore snake for the 10mm, and if not, which size should work the best for it?

Thanks.

10mm=.40 caliber....so anything made for a pistol chambered in .40S&W is gonna work just the same in a pistol chambered for 10mm...

And as far as cleaning products and things like that go, it isnt an exact science, like orangeride said, he uses a .44 boresnake on a 10mm and it works fine, just realize a boresnake for a .44 cal is gonna be a bit of a tight fit in a 10mm

Thank you. Looks like I will be looking for a .40S&W boresnake. I tried the one I had for the .38 special, and that didn't work out too well.

Might try the .44 boresnake first, but if it is going to be very tight, it might be worth the extra money for the .40 S&W.

Thank you everyone.

Personally, I just buy everything that is made for .40sw, it is the exact same bullet for both, so the same cleaning supplies should be used....but, whatever floats your boat, the .44 may actually work better since it is larger and will scrub the sides of the barrel a lil harder.

A larger snake may work in a smaller bore, but will probably deform so that it doesn't work as well in the size it was designed for after using it in the smaller.
