This morning I headed to the range and was in no hurry to leave. I had with me 400 rounds of 45 loaded with Missouri bullet cast 200 grain RNFP and 6.5 grains of Unique. Shot my G30 with LW barrel, my Taurus PT 145 and my old Colt government 1911. Took my time and kept rotating guns and went through all those rounds without one malfunction and that stuff just shoots dead on. I never shoot less than 25 yards. Was a good day at the range and I have to say this is my favorite paper punching load.

Any signs of leading?

I've been using the Missouri Bullet's 200gr SWC and 6.0grs of Unique with
good results from my Springfield Range Officer.

Missouri Bullets makes a great product.

I also use a Missouri cast 200gr. RNFP, but over 6gr. of Unique in .45acp, good load.
My Springfield XD won't feed swc but loves the rnfp. I also use 6.5gr. under Berry's 185gr. FP, very accurate also

I bought 8 more pounds of Unique yesterday. Went to put it in the cabinet and found another 8lb jug I'd forgotten about. It's some versatile stuff. I load 230gr FMJ with 6.0gr in .45 ACP for a nice hardball load, and it's my goto powder for .45 Colt. I loaded up a passel of 285gr Keith SWCs from Dry Creek Bullet Works last week with 8 3/4 gr and they shoot like crazy. Very nice stuff. ;)

Unique is one of the best powders for 45 acp. It's wonderful!

The amount of leading I see in the barrel is so little it's barely a trace. I still scrub it out with the chore boy trick which works great. I found around 6 grains my G30 would jam now and then so I bumped it up just a little to the 6.5 and have shot thousands with this load with 100 % feed and eject, no problems what so ever.

Need me another 8 pounder what I can load some .452 wif. I had a real connection with this 8 lb jug. I'm going to miss Dave, but it's just the circle of life.
