I had a buddy rattle can camo my 6940. I kinda like it. Clearly I need a new sling now. It is not all boring and black. I just can't drop it or I will never find it.

I think that came out pretty good. I don't have any buddies I would trust to do that to a 6940!

I like it.

Tip: Paint the sling. Seriously.

Your right don't sit it down in the woods while you take a leak...you might not find it again. I hear turkey hunters lose a lot of shotguns that way.:wavey:

Krylon I am pretty sure. I can ask him specifically for colors.

Looks good... I just worry about how it feels and how the paint rubs off on you and your clothes... and then you have to touch up the shiny spots that form with Krylon matte. Get a tan sling, not OD.

I used krylon's gun spray paints on my AR. The finish is very soft, and anything greasy makes it a mess, kinda smears, easy to scratch. The best thing is to let it cure in the sun for as long as possible.

However, it is very easy to remove if you're patient.

I don't use my 6940 very much so it will have plenty of time to cure.

Thats an interesting AFG/light activation switch combo you have going on there. How does that work?

Just a Larue mount and a 6P. I activate the light with me thumb over the top. Pretty simple. I also mount the AFG pretty far forward as you can see.

I did a similar job on a beater SKS paratrooper.
