I am curious, has anyone bought a pair of these pants? I am definately not buying them, but when i saw the price tag, I got to wondering where the market is for these? I am sure there are probably some Federal Agencies or Elite Military forces that "need" these pants...but really?? what does a $750 pair of pants do that a $50 or even $100 pair of pants cant do?
Just wanted some insight on it..
oh yea, dont forget the $550 shirt to go with the pants

Arc'teryx, is the new tactical Gucci..
I won one of their Gortex jackets two years ago in a Shoot and it is good stuff, when the guy told me it was a 450.00 jacket I wore it for a year and sold it in Ebay..

Great gear but overpriced they have a lifetime warranty ...

This.

The USMC went out and selected them to design their new ruck and while it is comfortable and decently designed, it isn't worth the asking price. They sell a 'law enforcement only' version in restricted colors to those willing to submit their credentials and have it shipped to the ir agency address. How many cops really need a alpine mountaineering ruck for work? North Face, Gregory, and REI work as well and are cheaper.

For $750 dollars, those pants better run the SAS selection course in record time for me, keep me refrigerated on a 120 degree Arizona summer day, toasty warm in -45 degree weather in Fairbanks, be flame proof, be bullet proof up to 25mm, EMP proof, and fully resistant to repeated groin kicks by Chuck Norris.

What a bunch of marketing doody.

I would settle for them if they included the little third world kid that made them, so he could make me another 12 pair.

Gees, I nearly had a heart attack when I bought a pair of 5.11s for $90 years ago.

I'm sorry but it better come with a built in Glock pistol or the spanking new Glock carbine in those pants.

Their stuff was expensive when I got into rock climbing 12 or 14 years ago, but the price on those pants is jsut retarded! :faint:
